An inner-city apartment, nestled within the tranquility of the Kenkō Studios Wellness hub, the very embodiment of Zen. Originally constructed in 1982, the building has undergone a remarkable transformation, blending contemporary aesthetics with a touch of urban charm.

Good_Space Method

    • Natural mineral-based plaster effect applied to the feature wall in kitchen and living areas, as well as the bathroom walls and ceiling

    • Non-toxic paint was used in all areas

    • Enhanced ventilation added in both the bathrooms and kitchen

    • A focus on-toxic materials was implemented with the support of the building team and contractors

    • Furnishing consisted of natural and reclaimed materials

    • Water-efficient tap ware + toilet was installed

    • A new energy-efficient gas heating system replaced the oudated, leaking hot water cylinder

    • Plentiful natural light now flood the livining and kitchen areas

    • All of the old lighting was replaced by energy efficient and non-flicker LED

    • Natural textures and patterns of nature feature highly in this apartment

    • The connection to the outside courtyard is enhanced with the nw landscaping design

    • Street noise was mitigated via the double glazed windows

    • The outside water feature provides a natural sound masking for the property

    • Reclaimed tile detail as a splashback for the kitchen

    • Styling with various secondhand items including the feature pendants and carefully curated art + objects
